Spring Intensives

Spring Intensives is a one-week collection of learning experiences—from The Way College and for the local church. Throughout four days of classes, featuring 3 intensives to choose from, we will spend time in teaching, Q&R, worship & connection.

Students will grow in areas of biblical studies, theology, and more—engaging with leading thinkers and practitioners while participating in a rich learning environment.

Each intensive will run all week, featuring 4 lectures. Join us for 1, 2, or all 3! We've thoughtfully designed Spring Intensives so that whether you join us for one or multiple, you'll get the full experience throughout the week.

Navigating Deconstruction in Canada

In the book Blessed are the Undone, authors Angela Bick & Peter Schuurman, study testimonies of faith deconstruction in Canada. In this four-day lecture series, pastor and author Chris Price, will explore the theme or deconstruction and offer a series of responses to some of the reasons Canadians have deconstructed their faith, as highlighted in Blessed are the Undone. Themes like violence in scripture, the problematic nature of purity culture, the anti-scientific bent of some readings of scripture, and the intellectual and moral problems associated with the exclusive nature of Jesus’ claims and his depiction of judgment, will be investigated.
